Payment Terms

Buttery GC – Payment Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 20th August 2025
Thank you for choosing Buttery GC for your sweet celebrations! Please read our Payment Terms & Conditions carefully before placing your order. By submitting a cake order through our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Deposit & Payment Schedule
  • A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of placing your order.
  • This deposit secures your booking and covers the initial preparation work, including design planning and ingredient sourcing.
  • The remaining 80% balance is due at the beginning of the week your order is scheduled for pickup or delivery (Monday of that week unless otherwise arranged).
2. Payment Methods Accepted
We accept the following payment methods:
  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • PayPal
  • Bank Transfer 
All payments must be received on time to ensure your order is fulfilled.
3. Non-Payment Policy
  • If the final 80% payment is not received by the start of the week your order is due, your order may be cancelled, and the deposit will be forfeited.
  • Buttery GC will make reasonable attempts to contact you before cancellation, but it is your responsibility to make timely payments.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
  • All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
  • If you cancel your order more than 5 days before the event, you will not be required to pay the remaining 80%, but the 20% deposit will not be returned.
  • Cancellations made within 5 days of your event date may be subject to full or partial charge of the remaining balance, depending on how much work has already been completed.
  • If Buttery GC must cancel your order due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund including the deposit.
5. Changes to Orders
  • Changes to design, size, or flavour must be requested no later than 5 days before the order date.
  • Significant changes may result in a price adjustment and must be paid in full before the updated order can be confirmed.
6. Delivery & Pickup Policy
  • Orders will not be released or delivered until full payment has been received.
  • Delivery is available for an additional fee and must be arranged in advance.
  • Pickup and delivery times will be confirmed the week of your event.
7. Agreement
By placing an order with Buttery GC, you agree to these Payment Terms & Conditions and acknowledge your responsibility to make timely payments as outlined above.
